Using ActivDigitalIO, you can output the results of ActivDecision via a digital board to the process. This enables to control the machine based on the result evaluations. Typical examples for this are: flash a red light if the wrong number of objects was found or reject an object when its dimensions are wrong.

In addition, ActivDigitalIO enables you to control the execution cycle of ActivVisionTools. One typical example for this is to grab an image whenever a signal is received from the machine.

ActivDigitalIO is designed in a way that makes it also possible to control all input and output signals via software. You can interactively set input and output values on the different channels.

Of course, ActivDigitalIO already supports a number of different digital boards. However, if you want to use another one, you can easily integrate further boards.
