In contrast to the calibration component of ActivView, which only provides a rough 2D calibration, ActivGeoCalib provides a high-accuracy 3D calibration (see an example measuring application). Typically, ActivGeoCalib is used only during the setup of an application, i.e., in the configuration mode, not in the application mode.
