ActivView provides the basic functionality necessary in each machine vision task: input of images (monochrome and color) via more than 50 supported frame grabbers, management of regions of interest, and display of images and results. Furthermore, ActivView includes components for calibrating the size of a pixel. Besides machine vision functionality, ActivView provides a component for switching between the two user modes, the configuration mode and the application mode, and for customizing the appearance of an ActivVisionTools application in the two modes.
