Positioning and alignmentTask: After the production of capacitors they are mounted on a carrier. These strips are later used, e.g., to feed pick and place machines. Therefore, it is important that the capacitors are mounted correctly to guarantee a reliable manufacturing process.Solution: Using ActivAlignment the location of the strip is determined. ActivAlignement is based on HALCON's advanced shape-based matching, which allows to locate objects robustly even if they are distorted. The two regions of interest for ActivMeasure are positioned automatically. With the two measurements both the presence of the capacitor and the exact location of the pins can be checked. The quality of the distances is evaluated using ActivDecision. |
